While the owners of US Event Photos personally handle all jobs, some jobs are large and we need extra help. And then there's those times when we are already booked. Rather than tell clients, "we're booked, so sorry", we like to refer those potential clients to photographers we know -- artists we've worked with, and have built a relationship with. 1) experienced event photographers looking to expand their own shooting schedule by subcontracting with us.
2) photographers who give clients that "wow" experience -- who are fast, fun, passionate about the shoot.
3) photographers who have invested in their craft by purchasing top notch equipment.
4) photographers who are skilled with lighting, especially in low light situations, hate TTL, shoot 98% of all jobs on manual, and who are obsessed with perfect exposure, composition, and quick turnaround.
5) photographers who blend into the event, and are unobtrusive -- but up front, center, getting the shots they need.
6) photographers who have a "yes, I can do that" attitude with our clients.
7) photographers who present themselves dressed as stylishly as their photos. US Event Photos is a different kind of photography company. Think Jet Blue. Liz Claiborne. Tim Gunn. By the way, we've worked for all of them.
